So many projects, not quite enough knitting time

Well, I seem to be having a commitment problem when it comes to my knitting projects lately.

First of all, I'm working on the Aftur sweater from the Lopi #25 book. It is enjoyable, but you know, I can't transport an entire sweater when I knit outside the home. I'm now on the yoke, so it is getting close but....

While working on the endless oatmeal stockinette of the sweater, I decided I need something as a diversion once in awhile. So I cast on for the Irish Hiking Scarf from Hello Yarn, using a lovely blue alpaca blend.

Then I started knitting at work, and had to have something that wouldn't become an issue if I get distracted by the phone or other actual work, so then came a sock.

Next came the announcement of the pregnancy of some family friends, so naturally I had to cast on for a pinwheel blanket.

And now I apparently am feeling unfaithful towards the aforementioned FOUR other projects, and have ordered some of this in Cornflower to make the pattern shown in the link here: http://www.elann.com/productdisp.asp?NAME=elann%2Ecom+Peruvian+Baby+Silk&Cat=&ProductType=5&Count=1 and some of this
https://www.knitpicks.com/Alpaca+Cloud_YD5420108.html in Peppermint Heather because obviously I need to knit something complicated and lacy. I haven't quite picked a project for it, but I am eyeing a few different shawls.

Apparently I need to find a way to make a living while sitting around knitting on personal projects.

Oh, and thanks to seeing the Yarn Harlot's Bohus sweater up close and live, in person last night, I'm itching to make such a fine gauge fair isle sweater. Absolutely gorgeous.
